MISS WORLD 1ST Runner Up is the MISS PHILIPPINES

Gwendolyn Ruais, Miss World 2011 First Runner-Up, in the Question and Answer portion said “to be Miss World is my dream job” which will surely become a word-of-mouth and a favorite household expression soon.

Gwendolyn was named First Princess (1st runner-up) during the Miss World 2011 coronation night in London on Sunday, November 6, 2011 (Monday, November 7 PST).

Amanda Vilanova of Puerto Rico obtained the Second Princess (2nd runner-up) title while Venezuela's Ivian Sarcos was crowned Miss World 2011.

“To be Miss World is my dream job, and I say job because it has a lot of responsibilities but there’s nothing I love more than communicating with other people. As Miss World you get to use your potential and your voice to help people all around the world, and what is more wonderful than doing what you love by helping others,” Gwendolyn said in the Q&A portion.

The 5’11” Filipino-French from Muntinlupa is the first ever Miss World Philippines 2011 winner since it was held under a new management headed by Cory Quirino who accepted the Exclusive License from the Miss World Limited organization earlier this year.

We've heard from several sources that the competition's 2012 edition will be held in the Philippines.

Sunday's pageant ended with Miss World 2010 Alexandria Mills crowning her successor Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela.

Reasons why MANNY PACQUIAO defeated MANUEL MARQUEZ

Manny Pacquiao wins the boxing matches for the third time against Juan Manuel Marquez for the possible reasons:

Take Note of the Score Cards:
Manny Pacquiao own eight rounds while Manuel Marquez own only four rounds.

Take Note of their Stepping Movements:
The stepping movement of Juan Manuel Marquez always retreated while Manny Pacquiao always moving steps forward. This simply shows that Marquez cannot withstand the power of Manny Pacquiao. And besides, Marquez only steps forward when attacking a rushing punch but immediately steps backward always starting from beginning of rounds up to the last twelve rounds.
You see? The power of the punches comes with the feet on the ground and Marquez can’t move Manny to step backward.

Fall off the Ground:
Juan Manuel Marquez is a Challenger while Manny Pacquiao is an 8 Division Champion. Manuel Marquez must do anything just to fall off Manny Pacquiao to the ground by a punch power hit not only three times but just even once but he can’t make it. It doesn’t matter if Pacquiao can fall off Marquez to the ground or not, but the most interesting part is for Marquez to fall off Pacquiao to the ground because he is a challenger and a big credits to him if he can do it but impossible.

My Filipino company besides me most of them say’s that Marquez is the winner but the judges let Pacquiao win in order for Pacquiao to face and fight Mayweather….
No!!!! It is a wrong comment.
Why?
Because we know it already that Pacquiao is planning to have a retirement, so, if they allow Pacquiao to win then that is the reason why he can’t face Mayweather.
Why?
Because due to win the fight, Pacquiao is feeling contented to retire while winning on the last fights.
And those ignorant people besides me – they don’t think that if Manny looses the fight against Marquez, therefore, Manny will still face to fight Mayweather (win or loose)
Try to think of it, if Pacquiao wants to defeat Marquez in the 2nd round then Pacquiao can do it, it is very possible, but what Pacquiao did is to MINIMIZE his power, speed, technique, and aggressiveness and maintain everything to defeat Manuel Marquez in a MINIMAL way, and that is the most painful for Marquez rather than knock-outed in the 2nd round. And besides, those people besides me – are they smarter than the judges there?

3rd Runner Up Picks Up Again by the MISS PHILIPPINES

Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup was named third runner-up at the 2011 Miss Universe pageant at the Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Miss Angola, 25-year-old Leila Lopes, was crowned Miss Universe 2011.

Miss China Luo Zilin was named fourth runner-up, Miss Brazil Priscila Machado was named second runner-up, while Miss Ukraine Olesya Stefanko was named first runner-up.

Lopes will succeed Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete of Mexico.

One of the heavy favorites as the pageant progressed, Shamcey impressed fans with her answer during the Q and A portion. Judge Vivica A. Fox asked Miss Philippines if she would change her religion to marry someone she loves. Shamcey answered no.

“I would not change my religion because, first of all, I love my God who created me and if that person truly loves me, he must also love my God,” she said.

Thoughout the competition, Shamcey was among the top placers in NBC.com's Miss Universe fan voting poll.

Last year, Ma. Venus Raj was named Miss Universe fourth runner-up.
